SUPREME BEAUTY TIP OF THE WEEK TRULY BRAIDED BEAUTIES!!!

SUPREME BEAUTY OF THE WEEK:
TRULY BRAIDED BEAUTIES!!!

TIBETAN TWIST
Traditional Tibetan braids inspired the delicate twists seen at Bibhu Mohapatra's Fall 2014 show. While these cultural creations are super intricate, you can create your own version in three easy steps:

1. Split hair into three sections. Create a deep side part on each side of your head with the pointed tail of a comb, following the curve of your scalp. Smooth both sections down with a smoothing serum such as Phtyo Phytolisse Ulta-Glossing Finishing Serum, $30.
2. Braid all three sections of hair and twist them around each other, securing them together at the ends with a clear elastic.
3. Wrap the braids into a bun, and lock them in place with bobby pins, leaving the ends untucked.
BOHO BANGS
This whimsical 'do solves SBS (sticky bang syndrome) and gives you a fun way to keep an overgrown fringe off your face. "You want lots of texture to hold this style, so spritz your bangs with a texturizing dry shampoo before you braid," suggests Livermore. Don't have bangs? Just comb some of your hair forward for the same effect. To copy this look seen on the runway at Creatures of the Wind Fall 2014.
Start with damp hair and create a deep side part with a comb. Rough-dry your hair with your blow dryer to create natural texture. Beginning at your part, braid hair loosely around your forehead, weaving it into another braid beginning at the nape of your neck. Tie with an elastic.
BRAIDED FAUX-HAWK
Give this badass 'do we spotted at 6 by Shore Road's Miami 2015 Swim Show a go next time you hit the surf. Then, shake your hair out once it dries for your beachiest waves ever. Apply a smoothing serum to your strands from root to tip to keep flyaways at bay and create some sheen. Split your hair into three sections, braid the center section and secure it at the nape of your neck. Bring all three sections together and braid them. Then, twist the ends to together into a bun; secure with bobby pins.
CENTER ROW
Want to dabble in cornrows without committing to a full head? Take it from Tibi Fall 2014 and plait your part. Grab a rat-tail comb and create an inch-wide part in the enter of your scalp; then create a tight braid with the parted hair all the way down to the center of the back of your head.  Divide your remaining hair into three sections and twist. Spritz with a light hold hairspray and unravel for a loose, tousled look.

FLIRTY FRENCH
The hair at Diesel Black Gold Spring/Summer 2014 gave your everyday French braid an equestrian spin. Starting at the crown, braid your hair all the way down, grabbing large sections to make the plait look super thick. At the bottom, leave about 2 inches undone and tie it together with a string, says Myrna Palacios, a hair stylist at Rita Hazan in New York City. What we love about it: You can add your own bit of flair to this look with luxe lace or funky colored ribbon.
BEDHEAD BRAID
What we love about this look spotted at Rachel Zoe Spring 2014 - it incites "I woke up like this" envy. Section your hair into two halves (top and bottom) and pin the top half up out of the way. Create a low French braid with the bottom half of hair that starts at the nape of your neck. Then, grab the top section of hair and randomly tuck strands of it into your French braid, pinning with bobby pins where needed. Rake your fingers through your scalp and gently tug at your braid to create a loose, disheveled look. Finish with a spritz of texturizer. Try Oribe Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray, $38.
