 SUPREME RECIPE OF THE WEEK:


Open-Faced Ham/Turkey and Cheddar Melt

Serves 2
INGREDIENTS

  • 2 multigrain English muffins
  • 4 slices lean Black Forest ham
  • 4 slices reduced-fat cheddar
  • 4 slices tomato

PREPARATION

  1. Heat oven to 350°. Split and toast muffins. Top each half with 1 slice ham, 1 slice cheddar and 1 slice tomato. (Ham serves up more protein than cheese for half the fat and a fraction of the calories.) Bake until cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
